Rayleigh Art Group held their Christmas Party on Wednesday 7th December 2011. Approximately 35 members and their guests enjoyed a fun evening with a picture and anagram quiz just for fun but no prizes.
Several members entered paintings for the Reg Whiting award, and as usual, those present were asked to vote for the picture they most admired, with Brian Coppard collecting and counting the voting slips.
Unlike previous years where the final outcome has been close, this year there was a clear winner in the form of Pauline Grove – congratulations. Corinne Scott the Rayleigh Art Group Chairperson presented Pauline with the trophy.
- Bingo Callers
The evening continued with Corinne and Vice-Chairperson, Cathy Newton running three games of ‘Bingo’ with winners being presented with secret prizes. The evening ended with a raffle which was accompanied by some dry comments especially when Cathy Newton won first prize and Corinne Scott won second prize.
Apologies for the photos but they were taken using a mobile phone so not good quality – next time we will use a camera!!
